Inside look at Volleyball Stars Sophie Bukovec & Alex Poletto Strength Training | Part 1: The Warm Up

Sophie and Alex are both former NCAA beach volleyball athletes at USC and are current Team Canada Beach Volleyball athletes. Sophie won 3 NCAA Championships at USC and also won the U20 Beach Volleyball World Championships. 

In this two part series I am going to be taking you through one of Sophie’s and Alex’s full workouts. 

Today we are going to cover Part 1- The Warm up. In part 2 we deep dive into the full strength routine.

1. Low intensity track drills
2. Dynamic Stretching 
3. Neurological/Activation
4. Dynamic Training (speed, jump, etc…)
