VOLLEYBALL STRENGTH CLASSES
The Volleyball Strength Classes have arrived to Burlington and will now be located at
SST Burlington, 4325 Harvester Rd. Unit 9
For the past 10 years Coach Reid Hall and his team of coaches have been helping Ontario Volleyball athletes gain strength, jump higher, and reduce injuries. The classes help support 13 year old volleyball players up to our top National Team athletes.
The classes are an hour and 15 minutes in length. The coaches work hands-on with the athletes personalizing their workouts and making sure technique is being well executed. There are 5 major focuses in the volleyball classes:
Strength Training
Speed/Agility Foot Work
Jump Technique
Conditioning
Injury Prevention
The first 15 minutes is dedicated to mobility exercises, muscle activation, speed/ agility, and plyometric exercises. The following 55 minutes is focused on developmentally appropriate strength and power based exercises, and the last 5 minutes is a cool down.

Athletes can pick and choose which time-slots work best for their schedule. More time-slots will be added in the future.

Reid’s success in athletics and coaching began on the beach and has continued into the weight room. He is a former Team Canada Beach Volleyball player and Canada Games Gold medalist.
Coach Reid has been training Sophie Bukovec for the past five years and she most recently finished 2nd place at the FIVB Beach Volleyball World Championships.
Reid was the captain at York University Volleyball where he graduated with an Honours Degrees in Kinesiology and Health Sciences.
